New to the FreeUp Marketplace? You've come to the right place!
In this simple and quick FreeUp Getting Started Guide, I'm going to take you through the steps to get your account set up, submit your first request, meet your first freelancer, and make your first hire.
Believe it or not, you can do all of that within 1-2 business days.
And we're here to help if you run into any issues :)
Step 1: Submit a Request
To get started, log in to your FreeUp account and click on the submit a request button located at the top of the page.
This will bring up a page where you're asked questions about the work you're looking to hire for.
Outline the details as thorough as possible and use this Submitting a Request Guide for further directions and examples.
Step 2: Meet candidates for your job
Within 1 business day, and usually even faster, you'll be introduced to a qualified candidate for the request that you submitted.
You'll be introduced to them through an email and you'll also be able to view their contact information, project rate, and profile from within the requests page of your FreeUp account.
You can also learn more about managing your request once it's been submitted with this simple Hiring Center that we created for you.
Step 3: Hire the best person for the job
Once you've found the best person for the work, go to the Requests page of your FreeUp account and click the Hire button for the person you want to hire.
The freelancer will be added to your FreeUp account and you will be able to start working together.

Step 4: Pay securely every Thursday
FreeUp billing periods run from Wednesday through Tuesday of each week.
You'll be billed each Thursday using the primary payment method on your FreeUp account. You'll also receive an invoice detailing the hours you were billed by the freelancers you've hired every Thursday.
You have 1 full week to dispute any charges made by your hires. Simply contact Accounting@freeup.net if you have any questions.
To fully set up your account, please Add a payment method.
You can add an ACH bank account, credit card, or set up a PayPal retainer.
Step 5: Keep Growing!
Once you've successfully hired someone, repeat the process and continue to take work off your plate so you can stay focused on the most important things to your business.
